Plot

While walking around late Friday night, the gang discusses good fight movies. Dee says Million Dollar Baby was a good movie, but the boys disagree and say women are not strong enough to fight. As they turn into a deserted alleyway, a mugger confronts them with a knife. As Dee tries to calm everyone down, Mac, Dennis, and Charlie push her towards the mugger and flee. Frightened, Dee enrolls in a "boxercising" self defense class. When Frank, an old fighter, hears about it, he offers to train Dee as a fighter and she accepts.

Mac and Dennis visit an underground fighting arena and recognize the financial possibilities. They recruit and train Charlie to fight for them, based on the premise that he can take a lot of hits and would thus outlast any opponent. While training at the local gym, Frank and Dee see Bobby Thunderson (Eddie Mekka), Frank's old nemesis, and learn he is training his daughter to fight. Dee's progress is slow and a woman offers her steroids, claiming they are only "performance-enhancing supplements". The steroids work immediately but make Dee dangerous and violent. When Thunderson mocks Frank, Dee challenges his daughter, Brianna, to a fight.

Charlie notices Dee taking the pills and takes some as well, giving him severe mood swings like Dee's. On the day of her fight with Brianna, Dee is enraged because she cannot find her headband and punches a hole in the wall. She returns to the pub to take some more pills, and is further angered when she discovers Charlie has eaten them all. Dee and Charlie begin fighting and Dee pushes him into a car. The car's owner gets out to tell off Dee, causing Dee and Charlie to turn on him.

Meanwhile, Dennis and Mac have signed Charlie up for a fight under the name "Clown Baby" in order to trick the betting crowd into believing Charlie is an underdog. As Charlie has not yet shown up and the challenger looks weak enough for anyone to beat, Mac agrees to take him on instead. However, the challenger turns out to be a good fighter and Mac loses. While Mac and Dennis walk home, they are confronted by the mugger again. Mac has no money but Dennis has a wad of cash, revealing he bet on the challenger. Mac is upset and angry and asks the mugger to stab Dennis.

At the gym, Frank explains to Brianna and her dad that Dee and Charlie were arrested for assaulting the car owner and Dee will not be able to make the fight. Brianna and her dad dismiss it as an excuse for Dee's absence. Frank decides to challenge Thunderson to a fight right then and there. Thunderson wants to lay some ground rules because they are both old men now, but before he can Frank comes in with a left-hand punch. Brianna and her dad are caught off-guard and the dad falls and spins, hitting Brianna and getting knocked unconscious. Brianna is knocked into a stool, her neck broken by the seat of an overturned stool and Frank makes a run for it.
